Happy November, Diva Fans! We hope you aren’t suffering from candy overload! As you know, #divasneversleep, and we’re already working on our next Opera Sustenida concert. We’re pretty excited about this next set of pieces and we hope you will enjoy them, too! And we’re happy to say that we’re gradually filling our schedules again with teaching, recording, and performing…of course, with a lot of adapting along the way. In that vein, our resident spinto soprano Stephanie DeCiantis recently made a “socially distanced” recording of Verdi’s “Tacea la notte” (from Il trovatore) for an online concert with Southern Ontario Lyric Opera. |

You may remember “Tacea la notte” was one of the options for Stephanie to sing in our “Divas for Hire!!” concert, but “Vissi d’arte” won by a landslide! Well, if you had your heart set on Verdi, here’s your chance to see it! Please note that SOLO suggests a $20 donation for this virtual concert. Your donation will help to ensure that SOLO can continue to provide performance opportunities to future generations of musicians. Donations can be made here. And then watch the full concert here! |
P.S. If you missed Nicole’s performance in TCO’s The Telephone, you can still watch that until November 7th! Buy your ticket here. Until next time! The Divas |
