Opera Sustenida wishes to thank all of the women who nourished us, body and soul, and encouraged us to grow into women like them – strongly independent and creative artists.
Happy Mothers Day to our many mothers around the world!
In their honor, our Resident Spinto Soprano Stephanie DeCiantis and Diva Wrangler Suzanne Yeo have created a very special “isolation recording.” We hope that you enjoy their beautiful rendition of Dvořák’s “Songs My Mother Taught Me” (Als die alte Mutter).

And just to give you an update of what we’ve been up to since February…
We’re planning a fresh new concert for this fall; the second in our “history of opera” series. “Date with the Divas (Vol. 2)” will feature arias and ensembles from the Bel Canto and Romantic eras and we’ll be including even more guest artists in the program to help us bring these dynamic works to life! This includes hosting a special Summer Opera Chorus Workshop to include even more community artists and arts workers in our concert.
And finally, we’ve decided to officially release one of our favorite performance videos from our last concert!
Please enjoy the Divas (and friends!) performing “Nur Stille, Stille, Stille!,” the final quintet and chorus from Mozart’s opera Die Zauberflöte.
We can’t wait to bring our next concert to life and we’ll keep you posted along the way!
